In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We are proud to announce the establishment of the SEECC. This is a non-profit, voluntary organization started by a group of parents who have come together with the common aim of imparting Islamic knowledge in a relaxed, fun and educational way to our children.
We were concerned about the lack of opportunities for Islamic education and felt that we should begin classes for both Muslims and non-Muslims to become more familiar with the Islamic faith.
Aims and Objectives
To teach the fundamentals of Islam so that our children can grow into well-informed, responsible, good Muslims.
In order to achieve this aim we will:
- Teach children how to read and understand the Holy Qur'aan
- Teach basic Islamic studies including Islamic history, culture, manners and way of life.
This venture is, inshallah the first of many for the newly formed SEECC . We hope to bring together Muslims and non-Muslims of all ages together to promote social cohesion through these aims; in addition to organising Eid parties and fundraising events. Our ultimate aim is to have a purpose built Islamic cultural centre for prayer and education for the Muslim community.
We welcome all your thoughts and suggestions.
Finally we are starting this centre with the very best of intentions and would ask above all for your dua’a (prayers) for our success.
We will hold weekly lessons for children aged 3 -15yrs. Each week we will be teaching the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and in addition select a topic to focus on and try to learn about the topic in a fun and creative way catering for all different ages and ranges of abilities.. The children will be given the opportunity to study for the GCE Islamia and GCE in Arabic.
Lessons will held on Sundays 10.00am-1pm.
Please bring your children to the centre at no later than 9.45am to allow a prompt start at 10.00am. Please make an effort to be punctual to avoid disturbing the children once the classes have started. Please collect your children on time as the staff are voluntarily giving their free time to assist.
All children need to bring with them, their books and stationary equipment.
Collection of Children
It is the parent’s responsibility to bring their children to the centre on time. Should an emergency arise please contact us to advise us if you will be late. We will only allow children to be collected by a person other than yourself if you have informed us of the persons name, description and relation to the child.
Cars can be parked on the premises delegated areas only.
