In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We are proud to announce the establishment of the SEECC. This is a non-profit, voluntary organization started by a group of parents who have come together with the common aim of imparting Islamic knowledge in a relaxed, fun and educational way to our children.
We were concerned about the lack of opportunities for Islamic education and felt that we should begin classes for both Muslims and non-Muslims to become more familiar with the Islamic faith.
Aims and Objectives
To teach the fundamentals of Islam so that our children can grow into well-informed, responsible, good Muslims.
In order to achieve this aim we will:
- Teach children how to read and understand the Holy Qur'aan
- Teach basic Islamic studies including Islamic history, culture, manners and way of life.
This venture is, inshallah the first of many for the newly formed SEECC . We hope to bring together Muslims and non-Muslims of all ages together to promote social cohesion through these aims; in addition to organising Eid parties and fundraising events. Our ultimate aim is to have a purpose built Islamic cultural centre for prayer and education for the Muslim community.
We welcome all your thoughts and suggestions.
Finally we are starting this centre with the very best of intentions and would ask above all for your dua’a (prayers) for our success.
