Important Updates and Changes

New Venue and Times for the SEECC

I hope this finds you in good health and emaan, Inshallah.

The Billericay School will no longer be available for use by the school on Sunday because of proposed building works. Over the holidays, the SEECC management have been looking at alternatives. We have looked at local primary and secondary schools but none of the schools are willing to open on a weekend, as their caretakers have the days off.

All Praise be to Allaah, we have successfully identified another suitable venue. Please click on the link below to read more about the new changes.

If parents are intersted in enrolling their child in our school, please come along with your child and fill in an application during the lessons. Children will be assessed before a place is given.

assalaamu aleykum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh

welcome to south east essex cultural centre

We are proud to announce the establishment of the SEECC. This is a non-profit, voluntary organization started by a group of parents who have come together with the common aim of imparting Islamic knowledge in a relaxed, fun and educational way to our children.

We were concerned about the lack of opportunities for Islamic education and felt that we should begin classes for both Muslims and non-Muslims to become more familiar with the Islamic faith.

"Story of Creation" Event

With Special guest Hassen Rasool

The first ever South East Essex Cultural event was held on the 25th July 2004 to demonstrate the hard work and enthusiasm of the children participating, who had been thoroughly committed for the last 9 months in developing their primary Islamic knowledge.
The tone of the morning was set by the scintillating voice of Hassen Rasool who had the audience, which included local councilors, captivated and some reduced to tears with his distinctive recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
